A hideaway for steak and seafood! Limerick's located the the Fitzgerld's Casino & Holiday Inn has nothing to do with Nantucket. This small little steak house is tucked away on the second floor but offers some incredible sized steaks and fresh seafood. Every entree starts with a choice of soup or salad. The soup is always my choice, can't do much to improve upon lettuce. The Beef Vegetable soup was almost like a minestrone, chock full of vegetables and chucks of filet beef. The Steak Diane is simply devine. A juicy filet cooked to a perfect medium-rare and smothered in a rich wine sauce. Your choice of garlic mashed potatoes, baked potatoes or rice comes alongside with asparagus spears and broccoli. The Prime Rib comes in a variety of sizes including the Amazon size 22 ounce portion. If you're undecided on your seafood selection, try the Seafood Sampler. A little bit of grilled halibut, scallops, lobster tail, and some crab cakes. And don't forget to save room for their chocoholic dessert menu, if you can.

Staff is friendly, helpful and very attentive. Nice wine list although the bar doesn't seem to carry oranges for the traditional old fashion cocktail.

The atmosphere is cozy and quiet. The large portions make the moderate prices seem down-right inexpensive. Nice spot for a lingering downtown dinner with friends.
