"Lance Burton: Master Magician" was awarded "Best Entertainer" for the fifth consecutive year and "Best Magician" for the sixth year by Entertainment Today. He headlines at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino at 7 and 10 p.m. from Tuesday-Saturday.

"An Evening at La Cage" starring Frank Marino has returned from their hiatus. The show is bigger and better then ever and has a monopoly on celebrity female impersonator shows. You will see Frank Marino at his best doing Joan Rivers. Chris Woods is Diana Ross and Whitney Houston, Jimmy Emerson is not only Frank Marino's understudy as Roseanne but plays "Madonna's Bigger Sister" and "Tammy Spraynet," Lane Lassiter is the best Michael Jackson impersonator you'll ever see, Jayson Malone is Bette Midler, Steven Wayne is Cher and Celine Dion, John Merritt does Liza and Larry Edwards is Tina Turner and Patti LaBelle.

"Crazy Girls" featuring comedian Carole Montgomery hosts a bevy of beauties who recently won "Best Showgirls" in Entertainment Today magazine. Both shows are good values at the Riviera. Jeff Hobson will bring his magic and comedy to The Riviera Comedy Club thru Jan. 14. "The Man With the Horn" Maynard Ferguson returns to the Riv on Tuesday, Jan. 16. The Grammy nominee jazz legend has performed for 50 years. Tickets are $20. Call 794-9433.

Justin Tranz: "Hip-Nosis" is the hardest working showman in Las Vegas with two showrooms. See him at the Flamingo Hilton or Flamingo O'Shea's. Call 737-1343.

Regina Belle plays the Blue Note thru Jan. 13 and Larry Carlton open Jan. 15.

"Blue Man Group" has added two performances on Monday nights for 12 shows a week at Luxor.

Jazz great George Duke performs at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 at Boulder Station.

Former "Showgirl of Magic" Sophie Evans is at Caesars Magical Empire nightly.

Bobby Collins plays The Improv thru Jan. 14 and Max Alexander opens Jan. 16.

Mandalay Bay's HOB hosts The Go-Gos on Jan. 12 and Etta James on Jan. 14.

The Smothers Brothers returns to The Orleans thru Jan. 14. Debbie Reynolds opens on Jan. 18.

Magicians Penn & Teller will headline in The Rio's Samba Theatre thru Jan. 17.

New Year's Eve was a far sight better than last year!
