"Lance Burton: Master Magician" recently won another "Best
Magician" award from Nevada Magazine and my sources said the runner-up
wasn't even close. If it's a spectacular evening of magic you are looking
for try his production show at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino. A recent
marketing survey showed Lance got an 11 out of 10.
"Crazy Girls" and "La Cage" are two of the best shows in Las Vegas
when it comes to entertainment value. You can see both of the shows in one
night at the Riviera.
Justin Tranz: "Hip-Nosis" at O'Shea's is funny. Justin's comedy and
hypnosis with a little bit of fun risque humor makes it entertaining. Two
hours will fly by when you're having a goodtime. Las Vegas audiences these
days are too sophisticated for g-rated hypnosis. For a great show with new
shot times see "Hip-Nosis" at 9 p.m.Tuesday thru Thursday and 8 & 11 p.m.
Fridays & Saturdays. Call 737-1343 for reservations.
It's the Osmonds! It's the Sopranos! No, It's The Scintas! This
sister and brothers act recently made the jump from The Nightclub at the Las
Vegas Hilton to The Rio's big showroom. They sing, play and offer a friendly
family atmosphere. It's toned down from their gig at the Hilton to a PG-13.
This New York showbiz family has seemed to put down their roots in Las Vegas.
The Scintas should be commended on their charity work. Their press party was
a big hit. They're talented and bring live music back to Las Vegas.
