Lance Burton will appear on "World's Greatest Magic" on Fox
Family from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, May 18. Check your local listings. His show
at the Monte Carlo "Lance Burton: Master Magician" recently completed and
exit poll. Here are some of the comments: "Awesome & amazing," "excellent
show," "great magician," "a 10-plus," "a good unbelievable magic show,"
"great illusionist and showmanship," "he always amazes me," "it's a good
down-to-earth magic show without the fluff and glitter," "very personable
with great sleight-of-hand tricks" and "great entertaining showmanship."
Trent Carlini's recent run in The Nightclub of the Las Vegas
Hilton was the biggest hit that showroom has ever experienced. His tribute to
Elvis in "The Dream King" was empowering to anyone who has ever enjoyed
Elvis. Carlini returns to the Holiday Inn / Boardwalk with his excellent
performance. Don't judge a book by its cover. This showman should be playing
a bigger Las Vegas showroom. He was sold-out at The Rosemont in Chicago with
4,200 fans in attendance. With the right publicity, marketing, advertising
and promotion he could sell-out the big showroom at the Las Vegas Hilton,
which is where Elvis performed creating an unprecedented excitement that Las
Vegas has ever seen since his passing. The frenzy of fans in those days would
strip the hotel clean of all elevator posters. Trent does a young vibrant
Elvis. He's a must-see.

Two of the best show values on the Las Vegas Strip for a little
more on the adult side ofentertainment are "Crazy Girls" featuring comedian
Carole Montgomery and "An Evening at La Cage" starring Frank Marino. Call
the Riviera Box Office at 794-9433.
Justin Tranz stars in the hilarious comedy-hypnotist show
"Hip-Nosis" at O'Shea's. It's a two-hour laugh-fest at only $29.95. For
ticket reservations call 737-1433.
Danny Gans is on my list as one of the most incredible showmen
that I've ever seen. If you saw him at the Stratosphere and liked him, see him
at The Mirage and you'll love him. My top 10 includes Lance Burton, Danny
Gans, Wayne Newton, Rod Stewart, Jimi Hendrix, Tina Turner, Don Rickles,
Dennis Miller, Elton John and Neil Diamond.
"Fosse" will perform at the Aladdin Theatre for the Performing
Arts thru May 26.
Peter, Paul & Mary will be in concert at The Orleans. After
forming in The Big Apple 40 years ago they're playing Las Vegas. All three of
them are in there 60s and still going strong. They hit the big-time with
"Puff (The Magic Dragon)" in 1963, followed four months later by their second
No. 1 hit on Billboard's Top 40 "Blowin' in the Wind." In 1969 Peter, Paul &
Mary made No. 1 again with "Leaving on a Jet Plane" written by the late John
Denver. Mary Travers is from Louisville the same hometown as Lance Burton.
