"Lance Burton: Master Magician" is running a 2-for-1 show offer to Nevada residents only! This offer is good now thru Oct. 31. For reservations call 730-7160. The Monte Carlo Resort & Casino is limiting for tickets per Nevada ID (2 paid, 2 free).

"La Cage" will perform one show only at 7:30 p.m. nightly except for Tuesday. "Crazy Girls" has cutback to one show at 9:30 p.m. with Tuesday night being dark. Ask about the dinner specials with show tickets to these shows at the Riviera at 794-9433.

For the funniest show you will ever experience try Justin Tranz: "Hip-Nosis" at Flamingo O'Shea's. His show times are 9 p.m. Tuesday thru Friday and at 11 p.m.on Saturdays. His show is on the 2nd floor of The Comedy / Magic Theatre at O'Shea's Casino. O'Shea's is in between the Imperial Palace and the Flamingo Hilton and across from Caesars Palace. At $35 per person including tax it may well be the best deal in that area of The Las Vegas Strip. Justin Tranz is looking for volunteers so come and see him.

The Majestix will perform at Caesars Magical Empire at Caesars Palace opening on Oct. 16 and run thru Nov. 10. This is one of the only dinner shows left in Las Vegas. Caesars Magical Empire is a modern day version of The Magic Castle in Hollywood.

The Excalibur's Catch A Rising Star will feature the antics of Tom McGillan and Dennis Regan thru Oct. 14 and Tim Jones and Mike Reynolds, Oct. 15-21. Catch is on the 2nd floor of the Excalibur and has been in Vegas for years from Bally's to the MGM.

Ahmad Jamal "Real TV's" host who replaced John Daly plays the Fiesta, Oct. 13.

Smash Mouth and LeRoy will perform on Monday, Oct. 15 at the Hard Rock.

The Backstreet Boys are back at the MGM Grand Arena on Friday, Oct. 19. The boy group sensation were upstaged by N' Sync but still have plenty of teenybopper fans. You can be assured the arena will be sold-out. Tom Jones plays Oct. 18-31 at the MGM.

James Taylor who vowed not to play Vegas again is at Mandalay Bay on Oct. 13.

The Orleans will feature The Smothers Brothers and Ed Yeager in The Orleans Showroom from Oct. 9-14 and Debbie Reynolds from Oct. 17-21. Kudos to Michael Gaughan for not laying off any employees thus showing his patriotism to America.

Julio Iglesias will sing at The Paris from Oct. 17-21 after a long absence.

Riders in the Sky a nostalgic cowboy band will be in concert at the Suncoast Showroom from Oct. 12-14. Are on a road trip stopping in Las Vegas for three nights. Their next stop after Las Vegas is the American Royal Rodeo in Kemper Arena in KC.

Randy Travis will perform at Club Madrid in Sunset Station on Saturday, Oct. 13.

Singing legend of the '50s & '60s Connie Francis will be at Texas Station, Oct. 19.
